What is a curly cut and how is it different from a ‘regular cut’?

A curly cut is a cutting technique where we cut the hair in its natural state on dry defined curls. 
I suggest this type of cut if you wear your hair in its natural state all of the time. 
This allows me to see the curls so I can take into account the different textures/shrink factors on the head and customize a shape best for you. 
I have been trained in a variety of curly cutting methods such as Curly Hair Artistry, Forever Curls Academy, Deva Cut, Daze Curl Academy, and Curl by Curl Cutting.

How do I book an appointment?

All new clients should book online using my "Book Now" link so they can create their "client profile". 
Returning clients can also book online, and text or email me.

How should my hair be prepared for my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Hair must be down, detangled, completely dry and no more than 1 day old. 
Please wash, condition & fully detangle your hair & style as usual with the styling products you are currently using. 
This allows us to see your natural curl pattern and helps us take into account each curls’ spring factor when performing the dry cut. 
Please make sure that your hair is completely dry before your appointment time.

Please avoid the use of heavy butters and oils as they can alter your normal curl pattern,

Please do not come with your hair in a bun, ponytail, twist out, braids, clips, barrettes, etc.

I don't see any appointments available for months, is your site broken?

No the site isn't broken! 
it is common for me to be booked out for weeks or sometimes months. You can book appointments as far as 4 months in advance. If nothing is available, then all times have been booked. 
Please add yourself to the waitlist and you will be contacted when/if something becomes available.

Do you have a waitlist?

Yes! Schedulicity, my online booking system,  has an option to add yourself to the waitlist.
If I have a cancellation, I will contact those on my waitlist as well as post the opening on my Instagram page. 
Appointments will then be bookable online on a first come first serve basis.

Question 6

Do you work with clients transitioning from a relaxer, keratin treatment, chemical, color or heat damaged hair?

Yes! I will always use my best effort to revitalize your curls and clients are encouraged to keep realistic expectations based on the current state of their hair and know that it can take multiple appointments and haircuts to get you to your goal. Our first appointment will get you on the right path for your curl journey!

Question 7

Can I bring additional guests?

Accepted Answer

I work out of a studio salon, and do no have extra seating in my studio. Children are not allowed to be left unattended in the hallways, so please do not bring any additional guests or your children to your service unless you need physical assistance.

Children having services done may be accompanied by only one adult.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is a free parking lot with plenty of spaces
